Did you know that The Shoppes at Grand Prairie can meet and greet your tour group providing everyone a “goodie bag?” If you are planning a trip to The Shoppes at Grand Prairie or would like to, arriving via motorcoach, give us a call. We can meet you upon your arrival. Your group will receive a bag full of information and coupons for all to enjoy.

Group Tour Ideas
Note that these are for groups of 20 or more and must have reservations scheduled. Some tours are seasonal including The Great Outdoors, Happy Holidays Tour, Historical Tour and The Artistic Tour. Tours must arrive via motorcoach (excluding the Beauty School Bus).
The Great Outdoors
First enjoy some shopping at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie. While you are here, create your own stuffed animal at Teddy Bear Stuffers. You can build anything from a turtle to an elephant. Finish your journey with an afternoon at Wildlife Prairie Park located minutes away from The Shoppes at Grand Prairie. Available May – September.
Happy Holidays Tour
Do all of your shopping at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie. After all the gifts have been purchased, check out holiday cooking secrets at Bergner’s. Learn how to make delicious cookies or the art of gift wrapping. Then that evening head to The Festival of Lights and admire bright and beautiful Holiday scenery in Folepi’s Forest, Winter Wonderland, and Folepi’s Marketplace. This tour may require an overnight stay. Available at the end of November – December.
Beauty School Bus
This is every woman’s dream. First head to Bergner’s Clinique counter and learn the essentials to applying your makeup. Let the professionals give you a makeover. Then get that hair cut you’ve been wanting, or a manicure at the wonderful Regis salon. These ladies know the latest cuts and styles that will fit your personality. (This tour can have no more than 10 people.)
Something Old & Something New Tour
First check out the hottest new trends and fashions offered at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie. Then head to the Illinois Antique Center to find that diamond in the ruff you’ve been searching for.
Historical Tour
Your first stop will be at the Holocaust Memorial at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie. Learn about this memorial with a speaker from the Jewish Federation while admiring the 11 million button memorial. Next take some time to enjoy all our specialty stores at The Shoppes. Finally take a tour of Peoria with the Peoria Historical Society and learn all about the fascinating history that Peoria holds. Available June – October.
The Artistic Tour
Your first stop will be at Lakeview Museum. Check out the latest exhibits featured here. Next, head to The Shoppes at Grand Prairie for an afternoon of shopping. While you’re here look at all of our fabulous sculptures and breathtaking landscape. End the day with dinner and a stroll along the Peoria River Front admiring the true beauty Peoria holds. Available June – October.
Please note that there are costs involved in these tours and are only for groups of 20 or more (excluding the Beauty School Bus). Reservations are required. You can do this by contacting Andrea Marold-Childs at 309-692-3672 x10. We can send you itineraries for these tours planning out the day for your group. Reservations at our restaurants can be arranged. Each bus will be greeted with a tour packet including coupons for our stores. Tours are available during all hours of operation except for tours that are only offered seasonally. We are sorry that these tours are not for individuals.
